Three Years Timeline

(note: slightly different from canon)

sep 1999 – Kippei transfers in to Fudomine

nov 1999 – Shinji’s 13th birthday

nov 2000 – Shinji’s 14th birthday

apr 2001 -  Kippei and Shinji start going out, sort of?

nov 2001 – Shinji’s 15th birthday

may 2002 – Kippei and Shinji’s first kiss

nov 2002 – Shinji’s 16th birthday; Kippei and Shinji’s first time

oct 2003 – accident that leaves Shinji in a coma and Akira with a crippled leg

nov 2003 – Shinji’s 17th birthday; Kippei and Shinji’s first anniversary

oct 2004 – 1 year anniversary of the accident

nov 2004 – Shinji’s 18th birthday

oct 2005 – 2 year anniversary of the accident, Kaeda is born

nov 2005 – Shinji’s 19th birthday; Kippei stops coming to the hospital

dec 2005 – shortly before Christmas, Kippei meets Rien

jan 2006 – Rien badgers Kippei into moving in together

mar 2006 – Rien’s mission to Milan, Kippei and Rien’s relationship starts to get more serious

may 2006 – Rien visits Shinji the first time

july 2006 – Rien starts visiting Shinji on a semi regular basis, every three weeks or so

oct 2006 – 3 year anniversary of the accident

dec 2006 – Kippei and Rien’s disastrous first anniversary

feb 2007 – Shinji wakes up

oct 2007 – wedding on the 13th

nov 2007 – home from the resort on the 10th; 20th or so, Rien’s mission to Korea where he rescues Hyun-Ki

jan 2008 – Kippei and Shinji go back to college
